This is me! I like working hard, having discussions about interesting ideas with people.
Research Interests:
I’m interested in developing software support for multicore architecture. My interests include application mapping, embedded operating systems, parallel compiler for multiprocessor network-on-chip architectures. My current research is multicore architecture simulation and parallel processing of graphics and DSP applications on an NoC enabled multicore architecture. I am also interested in performance analysis in storage systems. (resume)
Biography
I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2004 and received my M.S. degree from University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2006. I have joined Advanced Computer Architecture Group in UCI from 2005 and have worked on the networked processor array simulation project.
Personal
I grew up in Jeju island, Korea and finished high school there. I have a one-year-older brother and a twin sister.
